Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
Arrive in Guwahati, Assam’s bustling gateway to the North East. Check-in at your
hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit the Kamakhya Temple, a revered Hindu
pilgrimage site atop Nilachal Hill. Explore the temple complex and enjoy panoramic
views of the Brahmaputra River. In the evening, take a sunset cruise on the
Brahmaputra, witnessing the river’s tranquil beauty. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati to Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Shillong, the “Scotland of the East” and the capital of
Meghalaya. En route, visit the Umiam Lake, a picturesque reservoir surrounded by
hills. Continue your journey to Shillong and check-in at your hotel. Explore the local
markets and enjoy the cool mountain air. In the evening, visit Ward’s Lake, a serene

Day 3: Shillong to Cherrapunji
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, renowned as one of the wettest places on earth.
Visit Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India, offering

known for its stalactites and stalagmites formations. Visit the Seven Sisters Falls and
the eco-park. Return to Shillong in the evening and spend leisure time exploring cafes
and local culture. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong to Kaziranga
After breakfast, depart for Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
and home to the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. Check-in at your lodge or resort.
In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in the park, where you may spot rhinos, elephants,
tigers, and various bird species amidst tall grasslands and dense forests. Overnight at
Kaziranga.
Day 5: Kaziranga to Guwahati – Departure
Early morning, embark on another thrilling safari in Kaziranga to explore more of its
wildlife. Return to your lodge for breakfast and then drive back to Guwahati.
Depending on your departure time, visit the Assam State Museum or take a short tour
of the city. Transfer to Guwahati Airport or railway station for your onward journey,
