aura. Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati to Shillong
Drive to Shillong, the “Scotland of the East”. En route, stop at Umiam Lake for scenic
views and watersports. Check-in at your hotel in Shillong and explore local markets
and cafes. Visit Ward’s Lake and enjoy leisurely strolls. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 3: Shillong – Cherrapunji Excursion
Visit Cherrapunji, famed for its stunning landscapes and being one of the wettest
places on earth. Explore Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Seven Sisters Falls.
Return to Shillong for overnight stay.
Day 4: Shillong to Kaziranga
Travel to Kaziranga National Park, home to one-horned rhinoceroses. Check-in at
your lodge and enjoy an afternoon jeep safari. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 5: Kaziranga
Embark on early morning and afternoon safaris to explore the park’s rich wildlife and
landscapes. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 6: Kaziranga to Majuli
Drive to Majuli, the world’s largest river island in the Brahmaputra River. Explore
Satras (Vaishnavite monasteries) and interact with local Mishing tribe. Overnight in
Majuli.
Day 7: Majuli to Guwahati
Return to Guwahati. Visit Assam State Museum and explore local markets. Overnight
in Guwahati.
Day 8: Departure from Guwahati
Depending on your departure time, visit temples or enjoy last-minute shopping.
Transfer to Guwahati Airport or railway station for onward journey, concluding your
